Hello fellow craft lovers,
This is my first time writing on my blog and I have always been fascinated with how many people actually follow their favourite quilter, patchwork, applique or stitchery designer as they develop new projects for their avid fans.
I discovered the dreaded patchwork and quilting addiction in 2005 with of all people my mum (who has also found the quilting bug). I love machine pieced quilts, applique both blanket stitch and needleturn, stitcheries and english paper piecing. I consider myself to be eclectic in my material stash but love 1800 reproduction fabrics and patterns. I also have a love of cross stitch which I rediscover during my lull periods when I want to give patchwork a little breather and I'm a knitter.
In recent times, I have started putting some pen to paper and have been creating some of my own designs. I would love to show you but they are very draft stage at the moment, so who knows what will appear on the pages.
I have added some of my favourite blog sites so feel free to have a look if you are not already an avid follower.
I am busily trying to finalise some Christmas projects for the upcoming festive season. I will add photos shortly so show my progress.
Until next time, happy crafting.
