Superpower Blog Hop

I decided I needed to participate in another blog hop organised by the lovely Madame Samm and Pauline of Quilt n Queen.

Why this blog hop. Well its all about superpowers. Superpowers you say.

So I sat back and started to think about my superpowers as have many others who are participating in this blog hop.

So in considering my inspirations and where my excitement and energy comes from I would like to acknowledge the humble hexagon as the strength and drive of my superpower. I pay homage and respect to this beautiful shape that inspires inspiration and devotion.

So in light of my hexagon I consider myself to have super powers in english paper piecing. I love to EPP. But in light of this, my EPP projects are always WIP (works in progress). So here are some of my current EPP endeavours.

This quilt is finished and waiting to be hand quilted. I have to wait for the weather to cool down again so that I can get stuck into it.

Oh and I have been busy working away on a cushion top for this coming christmas. My beloved hexagon gets a view and some hand quilting using DMC thread to add extra pizazz. GO ME!!!

So go and visit my fellow bloggers as they reveal their own super powers

  2. Hi, I clicked here from Stash Manicure! Gosh I thought I had too many EPP UFOs but now I don't feel too bad ! I've just finished my first hand pieced, hand quilted quilt, and I've done the "add a border as a line of hexies right sides together then flip it over" binding which took forever, but I love ( no pics on the blog yet as it's for best friend's first grandchild and I don't want BF to see it until she sees the real thing !)

  38. Lots of great EPP. I just started doing some myself - with diamonds - and am enjoying the process. I'm not surprised that you have lots of 'begun' projects; EPP is time-consuming.
